About Arcola Curling Club

Arcola Curling Club: 125 Years of Historic Volunteer Spirit

Dating back to 1901, the Arcola Curling Club is celebrating an incredible 125-year milestone of curling in southeast Saskatchewan. Located inside the modern Prairie Place Complex, the club operates three sheets of pristine, volunteer-maintained ice with state-of-the-art closed-circuit TV monitors for spectators.

The club is renowned for its incredible community spirit; every single rink in its history was constructed by volunteers. Each winter, the club hosts the Cody Grimes Memorial Bonspiel, a massive event that transformed the adjacent skating arena into five extra curling sheets to host 64 teams from across the region.
