Carnduff Curling Club: Rebuilding and Inspiring a New Generation

Located on Spencer Street in Carnduff, Saskatchewan, the Carnduff Curling Club serves as a vital winter recreation hub for the local community. After facing several challenging years—including a major local flood that required extensive facility renovations—the club is back with a strong focus on growing participation, fitness, and small-town sportsmanship.

To make the sport more accessible for busy families, the club introduced highly popular six-week mini leagues alongside their traditional Monday mixed and senior leagues. Carnduff is deeply committed to youth athletic development, running the five-week ‘Blizzard’ learn-to-curl program for ages 7 to 16. With an active schedule running from mid-November to March and its annual open bonspiel in the spring, the club is a welcoming place for everyone to slide and sweep.
