About Rochester Curling Club
Rochester Curling Club: Upstate New York Curling Since 1961
Rochester Curling Club has been a fixture of the sport in upstate New York since 1961. The club plays on four sheets of dedicated curling ice, with a season that runs from September into the spring and evenings when several games are under way at once.
Membership has grown steadily year over year, and each Winter Olympics brings an extra surge of interest; in February 2022 the club’s Learn to Curl sessions were fully booked through the end of the year. Club leaders point to camaraderie as the heart of the appeal, with the game as much a chance for people to come together as a test of skill on the ice.
