About Arlington Curling Club
Arlington Curling Club: Dedicated Ice in Columbia County Since 1954
Arlington Curling Club is the curling home of Arlington, a small village in Columbia County, Wisconsin, a corner of the state where curling roots run deep. Arlington was among the neighboring communities whose curlers helped form the Northwestern Curling Association of America in 1892, and the present club, the youngest of Columbia County’s curling clubs, was established in 1954, when members built their own curling house near the village’s Firemen’s Park.
Unlike the many American clubs that share hockey rinks, Arlington curls in a dedicated facility with three sheets of curling ice. Its membership draws from Arlington and from neighboring DeForest, Sun Prairie and Waunakee on the northern edge of the Madison area, and the club is a member of the Wisconsin State Curling Association, the oldest curling region in the United States.
