About Grimsby Curling Club
Grimsby Curling Club: A Landmark of Niagara Sports and Fellowship
Operating since 1908, when local enthusiasts first slid mismatched stones on natural ice, the Grimsby Curling Club has been a beloved fixture of the Niagara Region. The club transitioned through various historical sites—including a former fruit-packing warehouse on Livingston Avenue—before settling into its modern home, bringing generations of local families together on the ice.
Today, the club boasts a dynamic and welcoming membership, offering recreational and competitive leagues Monday through Friday. Grimsby is highly dedicated to youth athletic development, hosting vibrant Little Rock and Junior leagues on Sundays. Beginners are welcomed with excellent ‘Learn to Curl’ clinics, while the cozy viewing lounge and licensed bar provide a warm space for community events, making it a true centerpiece of local winter recreation.
