About Glanford Curling Club
Glanford Curling Club: The Small Club with a Big Heart
Established in 1894 on Homestead Drive in Mount Hope, Ontario, the Glanford Curling Club is proudly recognized as one of the oldest active curling clubs in the province. The club transitioned from its original two-sheet natural ice roots into its current three-sheet artificial ice facility and renovated clubhouse in 1959.
True to its motto, ‘The Small Club with a Big Heart,’ Glanford serves over 200 active members, running popular daytime and evening leagues for men, ladies, mixed, and junior players (ages 8 to 20). The club is highly regarded for its beginner-friendly atmosphere, offering a structured 5-week ‘Learn to Curl’ program and highly affordable trial memberships, making it the perfect winter home.
