Hamilton Victoria Curling Club: Celebrating Over 150 Years on King Street
Established in 1867, the Hamilton Victoria Curling Club (affectionately known as ‘The Vic’) is proudly recognized as the oldest continuously operating sporting organization in Hamilton, Ontario. Located at 568 King Street East since 1905, the club operates out of a historic, beautifully adapted facility that features four sheets of pristine curling ice.
The club is a recognized community leader in inclusivity, famously introducing a popular Friday night LGBTQ league alongside its traditional mixed, ladies’, and senior draws. Perfect for beginners, ‘The Vic’ runs highly successful ‘Learn to Curl’ clinics twice a year. Thanks to a generous Ontario Trillium Foundation grant for a brand-new roof, this historic club has fully secured its winter seasons for decades to come.
