About Crestwood Curling Club
Crestwood Curling Club: Over 70 Years of Championship Ice
Constructed in 1954 in the west end of Edmonton, Alberta, the Crestwood Curling Club is a historic winter sports landmark. Opening its doors in February 1955 with a feature game starring Brier champion Matt Baldwin, the club has modernized continuously over the years, replacing its historic sand base with a state-of-the-art concrete floor in 2010.
The facility operates six pristine sheets of curling ice, hosting competitive and recreational leagues for men, ladies, mixed, seniors, and junior players. Crestwood boasts an incredibly rich competitive pedigree, having produced multiple provincial men’s and women’s champions, as well as two national women’s championship teams. Following a match, members gather in the spacious, renovated Jamison Lounge, which is also available for corporate bookings and banquets.
