Creston Curling Club: 100 Years of Kootenay Sporting Heritage

Established in 1926, the Creston Curling Club on 19th Avenue North in Creston, British Columbia, is celebrating a magnificent century-long legacy of winter sports. Over the last 100 years, this active club has grown to serve around 240 passionate members, acting as a vital social and recreational cornerstone for the Creston Valley community.

The facility features a spacious six-sheet ice surface, providing excellent playing conditions for men’s, women’s, and mixed leagues of all abilities. Dedicated to fostering a highly supportive and inclusive environment, the club hosts popular school programs, junior clinics, and a specialized division for Special Olympics athletes. Off the ice, their cozy, fully licensed lounge remains a premier local venue for socializing and private rentals.
