About Cranbrook Curling Club

Cranbrook Curling Club: Over a Century of Championship Ice

Established in 1906, the Cranbrook Curling Club (operating out of the Cranbrook Curling Centre on 2nd Street North) is one of the oldest and most historically rich sports clubs in British Columbia. Over the years, the club has grown from a humble natural ice venue into a modern, fully insulated six-sheet curling rink.

Cranbrook has a proud history of hosting major provincial and national tournaments, including the BC Men’s and Women’s Curling Championships. The club runs highly active leagues for juniors, men, women, mixed teams, and seniors. Off the ice, spectators and players can relax in the comfortable viewing lounge, while the dry floor is used in the off-season to support local emergency services and community events.
