Iroquois Falls Curling Club: Promoting Active Lifestyles on Synagogue Avenue
Operating a spacious five-sheet artificial ice facility at 729 Synagogue Avenue, the Iroquois Falls Curling Club is a vital sports and social cornerstone of northeastern Ontario. The club’s historic home was constructed inside the Jus Jordan Community Arena and Sports Complex, which stands as a monumental community monument built entirely by local volunteer labor in 1955.
The curling rink operates seasonally from November through March, hosting active leagues for men, ladies, business sponsors, mixed doubles, and junior players. Supported by the local parks and recreation department, the facility features a fully licensed guest lounge with excellent ice-level viewing. Its integration into the larger complex makes it a highly convenient, family-friendly space for residents to stay active.
