About Hallock Curling Club
Hallock Curling Club: A Century of Curling in Minnesota’s Far Northwest
Hallock Curling Club keeps the roaring game going in Hallock, the small seat of Kittson County in the far northwestern corner of Minnesota, close to the Red River and the Canadian border. Curling has been organized here since 1923, giving the club more than a century of history in a part of the state where winters are long and the ice is reliable.
The club curls in its own dedicated building with three sheets of ice on South Bryan Avenue, a sizable layout for a town of Hallock’s size. It operates independently, outside the Minnesota Curling Association and USA Curling, and serves curlers from Hallock and the surrounding farm country.
