Hylo/Venice Curling Club: Fostering Grassroots Pride on the Ice

Managed in close coordination with the Hylo/Venice Recreation and Agricultural Society, the Hylo/Venice Curling Club is a cherished athletic resource in the hamlet of Hylo, Alberta. Supported by municipal recreation grants and dedicated local volunteers, the club plays a critical role in promoting fitness and social connection.

The facility features well-kept sheets of ice, hosting popular recreational leagues, youth school clinics, and classic winter bonspiels during the cold months. In the spring and summer, the agricultural society utilizes the spacious dry-floor multi-purpose complex for family socials, markets, and regional fairs, making it a valuable year-round wellness asset.
