Carberry Curling Club: A Landmark of Westman Curling History

Operating inside the Carberry Plains Community Centre at 500 Stickle Avenue, the Carberry Curling Club is one of the most historically significant rinks in Manitoba. Established over a century ago, Carberry is proud to be one of the original seven curling clubs that formed the Manitoba Branch of the Royal Caledonian Curling Club (now CurlManitoba).

The multi-sport community center houses a four-sheet curling facility alongside a hockey arena, bowling alley, gun club, and outdoor pool. Celebrated for hosting the prestigious Manitoba Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the club is known for its incredible athletic legacy, with walls honoring every Carberry team that has advanced to provincial championships since 1928. The facility serves as a vital hub for local winter sports, community bonspiels, and friendly social leagues.
