About Calgary Curling Club

Calgary Curling Club: Over 135 Years of Inner-City Ice Legacy

Established in 1888, the Calgary Curling Club is recognized as one of the oldest and busiest curling facilities in Canada. Located on 3rd Street NW in the vibrant neighborhood of Sunnyside, just north of the Bow River, the club features eight pristine sheets of dedicated curling ice and is home to over 1,400 passionate members.

The club has occupied several locations in its long history, settling in Sunnyside in 1953 and rebuilding the facility following a major fire in 1976. Today, it hosts 6 evening Club Leagues, 20 Associate Leagues, and a premier Curling Academy. It is also home to the famous Curlers Corner equipment shop and hosts the annual Autumn Gold Curling Classic, a major event on the curling circuit.
