About Centerville Curling Club
Centerville Curling Club: Bonspiel Tradition in Trempealeau County
Centerville Curling Club has been part of life in Trempealeau County, in western Wisconsin’s Mississippi River country, since the late 1940s. The club takes its name from the unincorporated community of Centerville, and its men’s and women’s bonspiels have drawn teams since the 1950s and 1960s.
The current home is a four-sheet club with dedicated curling ice, built in 1996 as part of the Town of Trempealeau Community Center. Recent improvements include a dehumidification system and new stones purchased through the World Curling Federation program, upgrades that keep the ice in good shape through the winter season.
The club welcomes new faces with open houses and Learn to Curl events, with young curlers under 18 admitted free and burger baskets and drinks served alongside the curling.
