About Eau Claire Curling Club
Eau Claire Curling Club: Nearly 150 Years of Wisconsin Curling
The Eau Claire Curling Club is one of the oldest curling clubs in Wisconsin and in the United States. Founded in 1876, it has served the city at the confluence of the Eau Claire and Chippewa rivers for nearly 150 years, through generations of western Wisconsin winters.
The club operates as a dedicated curling venue with four sheets of ice, rather than borrowing time on a hockey rink, and it is a member of USA Curling and part of Wisconsin’s long-established curling community, where the club’s 1876 roots place it among the pioneers of the game in the state.
